The baby shower fun continued last weekend with a great time at the Carnill house!
Our marriage mentors went over the top with a beautiful table and atmosphere for Jocelyn’s Detroit baby shower. Robyn did the whole thing in a “feather the nest” theme, including baklava shaped like bird’s nests! As you can see, there were some especially clever gifts along with some of the old stand-bys.
It’s pretty humbling to see how the community has grown around my transplanted Ohioan wife in such a short time. Old friends and new came to support and love us in our new adventure. Big thanks to the Carnill clan for setting such a fine party!
And allow me to introduce to you: Mr. Christian David Curtis – Unplugged! (along with his proud mom!). Christian is the very brave son of some very brave parents – dear friends of our family. He is the picture of what prayer and leaning on God can do. Born 3+ months premature, he has been growing and is now essentially free of his respirator during the day. We were honored to be one of the stops on his busy social schedule! You can get some of the images of the Curtis family’s story here.Baby Shower – Detroit Edition (with a surprise guest!)
